South defeats North in City Conference matchup

Poet Davis finished with 17 points, James Underwood added 17, Jumarion Weh had 15, Romero Walker 12, and Maurice Hargrow chipped in nine because the Minneapolis South Tigers defeated the Minneapolis North Polars 79-76 in last week’s City Conference game on Monday, January 8, at North High School.

For North, Zashon Wealthy, Marcus Marshall Jr. and Jakari Miamen led the best way with 14 points apiece, Allen Hill added 12, and Jermaine Jones contributed eight to the Polars’ balanced attack.
