Election Day is November 5, but Minnesota voters can begin casting their ballots on Friday, September 20, until Monday, November 4.
Voters can vote in person at an early voting center or by mail. Mail-in ballots have to be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Election officials urge voters to mail their ballots in as early as possible to avoid potential post office delays.
Now’s an incredible time to register to vote should you haven’t done so already. You may check your registration or register easily by visiting the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder’s Voter Resource Hub. Even should you’ve already registered, election officials encourage voters to confirm that their voter information is current and accurate.
Note that pre-registration for the November 2024 General Election closes on October 15. If you happen to miss this deadline, you possibly can still register at your polling place on Election Day.
