Jade Hill at the tip of the 2024-25 school yr shall be a member of the UST’s first women’s basketball graduating class within the DI era.
4 years ago, the 5’7” guard got here to St. Paul from Minneapolis South and immediately became a full-time starter. Hill hasn’t missed a game or a start.
“Quite a lot of us have been playing together for the last three years, so we’ve built up plenty of connection, and we all know one another rather well on and off the court, which I feel makes the largest difference,” the Minneapolis native said after a workout.
After scoring over 2,700 points at South, including a college single game high of 52 points, Hill maintained her scoring prowess as a Tommie. Last season, she earned second team all-league honors, including hitting her 1,000th profession point in late January.
When told that her assist totals have increased annually, Hill admitted, “I didn’t know that. That’s good. I feel like I’m at all times shelling out, in search of my teammates and attempting to get them involved. I definitely need to keep improving my numbers.” Hill and teammate Amber Scalia made the Summer League’s preseason second team.
“Jade does so many things,” added Coach Ruth Sinn of Hill.
