JODY LULICH: Introduces his memoir “Within the Company of Grace,” during which he explains his path to veterinary medicine and the way caring for voiceless animals amidst his own shame and pain provided a lifeline and a likelihood to heal himself.

The creator is a professor of veterinary clinical services and internal medicine on the University of Minnesota where he holds the Osborne/Hills Chair in nephrology/urology and is director of the Minnesota Urolith Center. He can also be a classical pianist.

It isn’t too early to begin fascinated by the all-day 2024 Minnesota Writing Workshop on April 6 on the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront, 11 E. Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul. With the theme “Learn how to Get Published,” the in-person event is presented by the independent organization Writing Day Workshops. It’s a day stuffed with classes and advice designed to present authors instruction about the right way to get their writing and books published.
